Central X-ray Facility
The central X-ray facility at IISc Bangalore is an interdisciplinary shared user facility for X-ray diffraction measurement intent to provide a central facility system to support the institute’s researchers and also other institutes and industries from all over India. The facility is equipped with sophisticated instruments for various XRD measurements.
The broad objectives of the centre
- To provide various XRD measurement facilities for researchers under one shed to carry out all plausible measurements for their research.
- To train the technicians and students for the maintenance and operation of these sophisticated instruments.
